For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
You carefully study the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. They do in fact tell about me, but you refuse to come to me to have that life.
Romans 12:3
Because God has given me a special gift, I have something to say to everyone among you. Do not think you are better than you are. You must decide what you really are by the amount of faith God has given you.
1 Corinthians 10:12
If you think you are strong, you should be careful not to fall.
This one leaves me with many many many more questions than answers. how to begin? What does it mean for God to give certain portions of faith to people? Is it finite? Does it have to be? Is it what we're willing to accept (For as he thinks in his heart, so is he"). Don't mistake the scriptures (a created thing) for the Creator. Can I go out on a date with the writer and discuss these points?
